Why Jamiel?

Jamiel Andre’ Shaw, II, (Jas), was a very talented Athlete at Los Angeles Angeles High School.

We believe Jas, was murdered because of the color of his skin. Many Latino gangbangers target young black males in the City of Los Angeles.

Jas was NEVER arrested! Jas was NEVER detained by ANY Law Enforcement Officer! Jas does NOT have a juvenile record and we know that he will NEVER have one! Although some in the Community and in the Media would love to overlook that fact!

According to The Shaw Family and The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), including former Chief Bratton, "Jamiel Shaw II, was not in a gang".

The following information is taken from the L.A.P.D. Manual, Volume 4, 269.10
